Andrew has started 2010 with the latest of his 'Questions in the House' despite the big freeze gripping the High Peak.
Andrew braved the elements to field questions from a group of residents in Buxton. He said, "these are really good events. People invite their friends round and I take questions on anything they like. They set the agenda, not me so they can get the answers to the question they put."
He added, "I welcome anyone to host a ‘Questions in the House’ event, just call me on 01298 22521 or email to andrewforhighpeak@hotmail.co.uk and we can set a date. The host receives a pack containing information and invitations etc to send out to their guests. There is no cost to anyone, other than perhaps a cup of coffee."
Andrew concluded, "with the reputation of politics at its lowest ebb and the relationship between politicians and the electorate severely strained, I hope that this will help to rebuild it. It is a genuine attempt by me to give people across the High Peak the chance to have a real face to face discussion on any matter they wish at a time convenient to them."
