Andrew has this week attacked the Labour Government as they continue to fight about Gordon Brown’s leadership whilst the country struggles on in its debt crisis.
Andrew said, "it beggars belief that whilst the country faces the biggest financial deficit in living memory, the harshest winter for years and the deepest recession many of us can remember, the Parliamentary Labour Party are tearing themselves apart trying to ensure their own survival. The recent attempt to unseat Gordon Brown and the subsequent twisting and turning of his cabinet members was a particularly unpleasant spectacle."
He went on to say, "even Gordon Brown’s own cabinet don’t want him as Prime Minister, we should have a General Election sooner rather than later and elect a Government who would rightly concentrate on the matter in hand rather than their own internal feuding. We can’t go on like this!"
Andrew concluded, "a Conservative Government would be a united Government entirely focussed on solving the problems facing the country and getting it back on its feet, whereas this Labour Government and any subsequent one would be more intent on their own internal struggles over Gordon brown’s leadership."
