The Conservative MP for the High Peak is Andrew Bingham, who was elected on 6th May 2010 with a majority of 4677. Andrew has been a local councillor for 10 years, and was also the Conservative Candidate at the 2005 General Election.

High Peak Borough Council is made up of 43 elected Councillors who represent different parts of the Borough, known as 'wards'. Your Conservative Councillors are here to represent the interests of their community and to protect the interests of the Borough as a whole. Conservative Councillors currently hold 24 seats on High Peak Borough Council, meaning that the Council is Conservative controlled.

Derbyshire County Council is made up of 64 elected Councillors who represent different parts of the County, known as 'divisions'. There are 8 divisions within the High Peak, five of which are held by Conservative County Councillors. Overall there are 33 Conservative County Councillors on Derbyshire County Council, meaning that the Council is Conservative controlled.

High Peak is part of the East Midlands region, which elects 5 MEPs to the European Parliament every 5 years. Out of these five, there are two Conservative MEPs currently elected, who sit in the 'European Conservatives and Reformists' grouping in the parliament.

Officers of the Association are elected every year at the annual Association AGM by the Conservative Party membership in the High Peak. They come from all walks of life, and have a great variety of experience of living and working in the High Peak.
