MANOR PARK - GREEN FLAG

Along with my colleague, John Haken, I attend the presentation ceremony for the green Flag awards acheived by three of the parks across the Borough. Manor Park is the latest addition. Soon Manor park will also have its long awaited gates too.

GAMESLEY SUMMER FUN

My secnd visit to Gamesley Community Centre in as many weeks. I am there to see the range of activities we are providing through the summer holidays. Arts & Crafts, bouncy castles are amongst the things on offer

MEETING WITH DAVID CAMERON

I meet with David Cameron to update him on the progress of my E-Book. The E-Book is an electronic guide for students leaving home later this year to go to University. It is available on a flash player and is free of charge. It also includes and interactive budget planner that will help students to plan their finances once away from home

HIGH PEAK GAMES

What a fantastic event ! Schools from across the High Peak send their best teams to compete against each other in a range of sports. The weather holds fine (a miracle this summer) to ensutre that as may as 200 hundred children have a great day of competitive sport with prizes won by many.

GLOSSOP MOUNTAIN RESCUE

At the opening of the new HQ for Glossop Moutnain Rescue, I leanr more about the excellent work that they do. I am delighted to be raising money for them during my charity hike next month
